I have seen 2 kinds on the internet, Munton's and Cooper's. Munton's looks like it has superior ingredients. Any opinions on which is better. ![]() Where can I get Hop Rhizomes now??? May 2010Submitted by kurtstenberg on Wed, 2010-05-19 13:15I called Crannog ales and would of liked to purchase some rhizomes from them. I want Cascade or another american variety. Amarillo would be perfect but I doubt I could find it. Hops, locally grownSubmitted by tim shain on Tue, 2009-08-25 12:23My uncle has a small organic farms south of Edmonton. I got him interested in cultivating Hops. Any ideas as to what varieties he should grow? What types of hops is the demand out there for? I suggested to him to check out the Noble varieties as they can be used for both bittering and aroma. What are your thoughts? Would anyone be interested in buying from him once he got the production rolling? Iron BrewerSubmitted by mnesdoly on Sun, 2009-03-15 18:23Chris and I put away our IB submission on Saturday. How many others have already brewed IB? -- Mark MaltSubmitted by n0r0b0t5 on Wed, 2009-02-11 14:21Anybody interested in a group buy of malt? Canada Malting sells a 25kg bag of 2-row pale ale malt for $25 + shipping from Didsbury. I use Brewhouse kits, and only need a 1lb or so for each batch, so 25kg is too much, but that's the smallest bag Canada Malting sells. I like the idea of getting the good stuff right from the malster rather than what's been sitting around somebody's shelf for who knows how long. |
